Oct. 8 - Early Morning - - - - Michelle and Susan found their clothes missing when they woke up. Susan reveals that she hates shopping, especially for clothes. They go down to the Theatre’s costume shop to look for clothes. Susan takes a pair of jeans and torn flannel shirt off a prop scarecrow while Michelle, who has taste, continues a lengthy search. Susan leaves when Mel and Casey come downstairs. The three girls discuss the farmer’s market, mention that almost everything was sold, and that there was plenty of cash for this War and even a future one. Casey thinks about the meeting the NNPack had the previous afternoon to discuss war events. She starts wondering if the presence of all the factions is the reason the missing clothes problem is escalating. Casting Call for Cousins Fri. Oct. 8 - Afternoon - - - - Some members of the Pack head out to payback the Cousins for what they believe was an attempt to frame the Knighties re the pizza delivery. They drive their rental party bus to CERK and park outside. Using a tape of Lacroix’s voice, they lure three cousins into the bus. Inside, the Cousins drink, relax and dance to ‘Love Shack’. NNer Soul gives them all a special drink and they fall asleep. While asleep, she puts a cast on Cousin Brandi’s right arm and leg, Cousin Magneto’s left arm and leg, and long arm thumb spicas on both of Cousin Rhonda arms. The NNers paint pink and white hearts, Nick&Nat tattoos, and NNPack slogans on the casts. With the Cousins still aboard, they hit the road again. The cops pull the bus over for speeding and just before the cops leave, the Cousins wake up and start shouting. Everyone is charged with disturbing the peace. The Cousins get angry when the cop laughs at them as they try to explain the war, lost clothes, and loyalty to Lacroix. They get a! n additional charge of drunk and disorderly. Everyone is hauled off in a paddy wagon and the bus is impounded. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 9 Oct 2010 23:32:37 -0400 From: Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......> Subject: WAR: Die-Hards: Thanksgiving dinner The Die-Hards are going to be having Thanksgiving dinner on Monday evening. By the time everyone had put in their own ideas for the menu, it turned out that--if we made the lot--we'd have far more than we could ever eat ourselves. So the suggestion has been made that we invite everyone else. If you want to come to dinner, please contact me. If you want to bring a favourite family recipe--make sure to say so! A few words about yourself would also be helpful. Please, as Don put it, "No tricks, attacks, or traps...just a lot of good food and camaraderie." After all, it is Thanksgiving. Now that the loft was rid of the rancid milk smell and scents associated with Katrinka's exploding cooking ... she could smell the delicious scent. She wanders around the loft, upstairs and down, looking for the honey. Meanwhile, Lisa was checking several days' worth of mail and found one addressed to the Knighties with a return address of the UF. The note was sticky with open honey sticks that had been placed inside. Gemsong grabs the honey sticks! Marla reads the note in which the UF says that they've gotten word of an upcoming attack on the Knighties by the Ratsies, and wanted to warn us. There was a PS from Psych, thanking the Knighties for the pizza. 2) Title: "A Quick Flight Home" Author: Brooksie Time: Evening, Oct. 8 Brooksie had to return home for the weekend to teach at the stable where she works. The Columbus Day weekend was likely to be an extra busy one, with people wanting to come out and ride. Marla drove her to Pearson Airport, since she was flying commercial on this leg. As she was going through security, the checker found an Annoy-a-Tron in her handbag and Brooksie worried that she might be considered a terrorist. 3) Title: "Of Carrots and Honey" By Knightie Katrinka Time: BACKDATED: The morning of October 6 Katrinka was a Knightie with a mission. Besides her craving for carrots, she was distressed by a smell in the loft that even a Ratpacker would shy away from! Just then, her one-eyed brindle pup, Rani, brought her a pail filled with the toxic-smelling, rancid milk-paste left by the Cousins after their attack in the post "Got Milk?". After disposing of the pail, Katrinka was dismayed to find the smell was not gone from the loft. She enlisted Gemsong's help in finding the rest of the smelly stuff by offering to take her to the Bakery, Rene's, for honey buns when they were finished. After two hours, all the pails had been found and disposed of, and Kat and Gem had finished scrubbing the floors to rid the loft of the stink. As promised, Katrinka took Gemsong to Rene's for treats. 4) Title: "Rene's Bakery" Author: Katrinka Timing: BACKDATED: Morning of the 6th of October. Right after "Of Carrots and Honey" Katrinka and Gemsong arrive at Rene's Bakery. Katrinka, the bunny, orders carrot cake with carrot icing, and carrot juice. Gemsong, the bear, ordered honey buns and honey tea before singing "The Bear Went Over the Mountain." While waiting for their food, Katrinka overhears the Die Hards at one table, and UF at another, whispering disparaging remarks about the Knighties' costumes. Deciding to get a little revenge, Katrinka slips out to the parking lot to decorate the cars of the Die Hards and the UF with "Knighties Rule" stickers. When she returns, her warm carrot cake awaits. A cabaret singer comes out to perform, quite off-key, but Katrinka doesn't mind since she's almost completely tone deaf. 5) Title: "Surveillance A-Foot(age)" (1/1) Author: Knightie Nat Time: morning, Saturday, Oct. 9 Knighties Lisa, Mindy, and Sandra discuss over breakfast how they were able to tell that the "cow" attack on the Knighties was perpetrated by the Cousins and not the Vaqueras. Mindy and Sandra explained to Lisa that it was the *General* in "General Tso's Chicken Cleaning Service" that tipped them off (besides the Vaqs are slackers -- look how long it took them to respond to the pizza attack!). Meanwhile, Nat goes up to the roof to see what's new in Nick's ham shack and finds a room full of surveillance equipment (and another Annoy-a-Tron, which she smashes). She brings down the tapes from the recorders and the Knighties see proof positive that the Cousins were responsible for the "Got Milk" attack. But when they check the tapes for klews to who has been stealing the clothes, the tapes are mysteriously snowy. 6) Title: Hi-Ho! Hi-Ho! It's Off for Clothes We Go! Author: Knightie Nat Time: Saturday, Oct. 9, morning; after "Surveillance A-Foot(age)" Nat discovers that the Diet Mountain Dew Shelley bought doesn't contain the caffeine that she's used to, so she vows to use this time to kick the caffeine habit, despite the tiredness, headaches, and general crankiness this might cause her for the next few days. Nick takes the Knighties who have lost their clothes shopping, and gets some new clothes for himself. He drops the women at "Grande et Belle", a "big and beautiful" shop with upscale clothing for the discerning woman of voluptuous build. The Knighties buy their comfortable clothing as well as dresses for a possible party later on in the war. 7) Title: Message For Nick Author: Knightie Katrinka Time: Evening, October 8th Katrinka must take Rani out for a walk, so she goes to a nearby park. While there, Vachon steps out to greet her and give her a message to relate to Nick: Word on the street is that all the vampires' clothes in Toronto have disappeared, and the situation is more dangerous than it appears. He tells her he can't take the message to Nick himself, since it's too dangerous at the moment. Katrinka tells him that the Vaqueras are worried about him. Vachon replies that he knows, but he has to stay away. When his faction finds out why, they'll understand. Kat promises to take the message to Nick. ~*~*~*~ Nat Taylor -- Knightie Co-Leader nat1228@comcast.net ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Oct 2010 12:47:28 -0400 From: L McDavid <mclisa1014@g.......> Subject: Admin: Happy Thanksgiving in Canada Happy Thanksgiving to all of us in Canada!
