Like McLisa, I'm not up to playing in a war at the moment. I'm not against the
idea of future FK Wars, but it has only been about 1 year since the previous
one and some of us just cannot do the war every year, for whatever reason.
No offense intended to others who hold a different opinion, I just felt someone
needed to say something :)

I can't do one right now, either. Baby Alex is now toddler Alex and had
turned into Evel Knevil. I spend a lot of time snatching him from the jaws
of death where he loves to dangle like an appetizer. He's a climber and
into absolutely everything. Since I'm the primary writer as well as Merc
Mommy General, my lack of ability to participate might result in the
absence of the faction. I love wars, but I just can't right now....

There are people who don't want to talk about wars or have it in their
inboxes, so please use the topic war: when discussing this.
Note that the colon is vital. It's what tells the listserv that the
preceeding word is a topic.

I would need to read the posts, which I can do, and Don and I would of
course retain the right and duty to stop anything, including the war, which
started smoldering.
I would also undertake to keep the permission slips.

Ok. my first effort got eaten by editing.
1. Using the topic war:, the list will make up its own premise, choose its
own war mistress or master, and set its own dates. Note that the WM will
not be able to be anonymous, but then they weren't in the first wars.
2. I will undertake to read the posts and keep the permission slips.
3. Don and I retain the right to step in if there's a problem with the
regular list rules, and to stop anything, including the war, that appears
to be smoldering.
At the risk of being autocratic, I'm like Stonetree. These are not
suggestions. : )
