Well, my series re-watch is complete. Even 17 years later, those last two
episodes still hit me hard.
Urs.
Vachon.
Tracy.
And then Nick and Nat, thankfully with the faintest glimmer of hope for
those of us who wanted them to go on.
I need to go watch Nigel Bennett and John Kapelos dramatically reading
"Green Eggs and Ham" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd9NZlHaSsg ) ... and
then maybe go find some fan fic.

I know what you mean.
I've watched the last disc of the DVD set for Season 3 exactly once.
I'll not be watching it again. TPTB just wanted to kill everyone off,
and except for a little ambiguity in LK, they succeeded.
Pooh on them. In *my* universe they didn't happen. So there. Nyah! :-)

I know that, when I saw "The Human Factor" for the first time, I immediately
interpreted the ending to mean that Janette had died. And I *did* get to
see the whole thing, including the tag where Nick gets the picture back. I
assumed it was Nick who killed her murderers, and that Janette had returned
the picture during the day *before* the final scenes (while Nick was
asleep).
