This is true.

To my knowledge, sire was never used on Forever Knight. The term used was
"Master," which caused a slight bump in the book vetting at Sony (they had
issues). However, it's been a while and I could be wrong. People using Buffy
or Masquerade vampire terms in FK fiction used to drive me nuts. And don't even
mention "Childe."
