You? Wrong?

No, "sire" isn't FK. Nor is "fledgling". Not in canon, anyway. You do get
both in fan fiction, though. (Bugs me, too.) I suspect it started creeping
in when the show had ended and the DVDs not been issued; so people who
didn't have the series on tape were going by memory, which got affected by
other things going on at the time.

Thanks, you're absolutely right. I'll be sure to change it. In FK the term
was 'brought across' and Master.

Sunburn is painful.

A long white nightie looks strange on a grown man.

Full wine bottles don't always contain wine.

Cow's blood thickens paint.

Dogs are for dinner - but only in the worst of times.

Don't trust acupuncturists.

You can never have enough trunk space.

Don't eat white rats. They may have gone bad.

Leather flight caps aren't sexy on everyone.

1) amateur night at The Raven
Nope, Lacroix is not pandering...not at all.

2) "If she is an amateur, I'm a vegetarian." great line from Vachon.

3) funny how both Natalie and Tracy are now checking the necks of the recently
dead to see if anyone "unusual" has been involved.

4) Screed is a handsome man cleaned up. If he would simply stop living in the
sewer...he'd be more respected.

5) Did the actress portraying Urs do her own singing in the bar scene? Looks
like she did. She sings well.

6) Ahhh...the Duffy Bag O' Doom.
Fresh undies, stakes and crucifix....what more does a BabeCop need for a
weekend away?

7) "We don't live to kill...we kill to live" - Vachon

8) It is a little hard to believe that Urs has not found a way to kill
herself in the decades at minimum since she was turned by Vachon. If she
hates being "alive" this much...why hasn't she simply watched a final sunrise?

9) Vampires and more vampires flying around the skies of Toronoto. Gonna need
an air traffic controller one of these days for all the vampires buzzing past.

10) Finally, a police story where someone gets smashed in the head hard enough
to make them pass out and they have trouble getting up and their partner calls
for an ambulance and they decide to sit and await medical attention instead of
haring off after the bad guy(girl). You get hit in the head hard enough to
get knocked out...and you are not getting to your feet and engaging in a two
mile foot pursuit followed by an extensive gun battle.

11) Interesting piece of canon that a split-personality can have a vampire as
one of the personalities...and that vampire is completely disguised (including
all the physical weaknesses of daylight) when it is not the current
personality. It kind of plays hobe with the idea that a vampire is purely
physical...and not somehow a metaphysical phenomenon (IE. It is not a
virus...or if it is...it is a virus of the soul).

12) "I haven't had the chance to say that I am sorry for what I did" - Vachon
to Urs on bringing her across instead of killing her. Oh, common on now.
That is just sloppy writing. He's had decades to tell her that...it just
meant the writers would have had to work harder to blend that into the
story-line. Easier to throw this line into the ending.

13) Ahhh...I had forgotten the toe-twitch at the end. Interesting in the FK
fanfiction context if you want it...of course...logically it could also just
be the sort of after-death muscle reactions that do occur.

One of the great things about FK is its, shall we say?, flexibility.
There are so many ways you can go with something. Physical,
meta-physical, a little of both, or something else entirely. It
certainly gives the writers a lot of options -- limited only by
         their imaginations.

Really? Can that actually happen? Lordy, that's got to be unnerving!

HA! It's not the "beer" fridge that needs locking!

Although, on the other hand, having a sign saying:
"Blood Fridge - do not open" would be kind of
    awkward. :-)
