Subject: PRAYER: my brother
I got a call yesterday from my parents that my brother, who just
turned 41, is in the ICU with sepsis caused by a massive infection
(layman's term, he has blood poisoning). My father, who is a dentist
and my mother who has a nursing degree, let me know the doctors told
them they aren't sure my brother is going to make it.
It's been a tough year for my brother. He was married in December and
already looking at getting divorced, he is a broker and the stock
market has obviously been bad. So please, say a prayer for him and
me. Thanks.

replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may
quote the relevant four lines for that point also.
3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. Your sig starts with the first thing you
write after the text. It includes all the lines under that, even

ad after that, don't worry. The ad doesn't count.

The Border (with Catherine as a central member of the cast and Nigel
Bennet making appearances here and there) will be available on DVD in
November.
I've watched the show.
It is a well done police drama.
Could use more Catherine and Nigel...but what couldn't???

Does anyone know the location that was used for filming the exterior views
of the 27th Precinct in Season One?
I know that the building used for the 96th Precinct was a public library.
It's specifically the 27th Precinct that I'm asking about.

Subject: Blood substitutes
I need a bit of help, if only to save me the time of looking through screen
captures.
There were a number of episodes in which Natalie had blood substitutes
(a/k/a protein shakes) for Nick to drink. I can remember "Dark Knight",
"Dying to Know You", and "Blind Faith". But what other episodes did we see
these oddly coloured beverages in? Can anyone remember?
