I don't remember ever seeing Nick ride it. Not sure if this is correct, but years ago I read somewhere that the Harley did not work and was just there to make Nick look more edgy. I can't imagine why some woman hasn't snapped him up". Clearly, Natalie isn't aware of the FK forums.... 2) I like Nick's answer for why he tunes LaCroix in "Maybe he's so down, he brings me up" 3) The NickAndNatPacker in me really wanted the series to go for it with Nick and Natalie as an acknowledged couple. Yes, it would have limited the ability to have a "neck o' the week" that intrigued Nick...sorta...because they always could have played quietly with him being aware of his interest and holding himself in check. 4) Nick driving and thinking. Somehow I believe there is yet another "almost head-on collision" behind that statement. 5) anyone got a large wedge of cheese that explains why LaCroix was outside Natalie's window when Nick stopped by?? 6) This might be the best NickNatPack episode in the series. 7) I like that LaCroix doesn't seem to intimidate or overly impress Natalie in the scene at the restaurant...at least in the beginning....and it is clear she is falling under his vampiric powers as the scene progresses....so it isn't her own will and decisions that you are seeing in the character. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Sep 2008 08:08:35 -0400 From: "Phillips, Tim" <Tim.Phillips@s.......> Subject: Episode Discussion Scheduling: The Code The Code is the next episode Tuesday October 7th, 2008 is the date. Also seeing the depth of LaCroix's devotion to Fleur is deeply moving. It seems so unlikely yet the scenes of attraction between them are played out so well. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Sep 2008 10:13:26 -0400 From: Mildred Cady <mildred.cady@g.......> Subject: FK to be reviewed on horror podshow Hello everyone. [The Merc Mommy General comes out of lurk mode for a moment.] There's a horror podcast that I listen too called Horror Addicts. Last week the host said she wanted to talk about old vampire/horror tv shows since there's not really anything interesting going on now. She spoke about Kindred: The Embraced and asked for listeners to email her with other shows. I, of course, wrote to her saying that any discussion of vampire TV shows *HAD* to include FK. Apparently she has watched most of the show and loved it, and had already planned to talk about it in this week's podcast, which will be released on Thursday. And she'll include some of my comments since I proved that someone is actually listening. ;) The show is available on the show's website- http://www.horroraddicts.net, and through iTunes. [back to general lurk mode, unless she hears something about War, profit, and chocolate... or responses to this message] Mildred G.
