Perhaps she/he's got like me a player for Videos and DVDs witch are for all regions, I can watch tapes in European and NTSC and PAL from Brazil, the same in DVDs from all regions. And here in Brazil we have PAL-M to record, but ALL players are since the beginning in dual system, PAL and NTSC becausewhen you go to the stores all rented Videos and Videos in general even the Brazilian Movie ones arein the US system NTSC, because of that all players have got to have both sistems at least, and newer TVs and some players got also now the three sistems like PAL-M, PAL-N/G etc. and NTSC. I am even transforming tapes into DVDs to give them to others who also like me have no way to watch the series otherwise. I hope this explication helps. BTW, I have only some of the Forever Knight on tapes until now and no DVDs but the ones I transformed. I have only seen the first season and some episodes from the second. marianne aka i.m.mueller marianne01@t....... immueller@t....... immueller_art@t....... honiglippe@t....... ----- Original Message ----- From: "KC Monroe" <kaysea1228@y.......> To: <FORKNI-L@l.......> Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2007 11:34 PM Subject: Re: Forever Knight tapes/DVDs? > --- NAT <nat1228@c.......> wrote: > >> I have a friend in Brazil who would like to see the >> Forever Knight series. > > Doesn't Brazil use PAL video which would mean US tapes > and DVDs would not play? > > KC > ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 20 Oct 2007 to 21 Oct 2007 (#2007-93) **************************************************************
