Not red, but baby pink. I like some parts of this, but it is way too cheesy for it to be one of my favorites. I do like the reference to the french fries which is a nice tie in with "Feeding the Beast". Rebecca's character is nicely jaded, and I do like the fact that Nick doesn't try )at least on screen) to tell her that, "Oh yes, I know what you are talking about". But I think the writers try way too hard to tie Rebecca's fame into the whole immortality line. It's too blatant. And I may be wrong, but I seem to remember a couple of extra scenes in the TV show that are on the DVD, which is rather odd. I saw it originally on the Sci Fi channel about four years ago. Anyone else have that experience? --- "Phillips, Tim" <Tim.Phillips@s.......> wrote: > > Anyway, this does stand as one of my very favorite > FK episodes. > Definitely somewhere in the top 10. > > Tim > > Kristen Fife, Author http://writersweekend.com - Spend a Passionate Weekend With Your Muse ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2007 21:25:02 -0700 From: "Amy R." <akr@l.......> Subject: Canada-check a fic? I finished drafting a new story about two weeks ago, and while my beta-reader is getting back to me, I wondered if a north-of-the-border listmember might be interested in Canada-checking the piece? (The friend who often spots my US-isms is not available this time.) The story is 5,481 words/32K TXT, from Natalie's perspective, PG, and set in 2012. Contacting/copying me off-list is best, since I'm set "digest." Thanks! Amy R. akr@l....... At times I did find them amusing, but at other times, it almost seemed like they were filler, trying to fill time in a story that didn't have enough depth. Usually it's Brooding Nick scenes that act as time-fillers, though, so I guess Daydreaming Nick is at least a bit more entertaining than that. . .
