You can buy bibles that don't, would he be able to handle those? -Megan Deborah Clarke <dmclarke@i.......> wrote: In regard to Nick. In the third season , there is a scene where Nick tops or completes various biblical quotations. Proving he had and could read the bible. My question is was his reaction to this bible caused by his knowledge he was going to lie or was it because of its use a more consecrated bible. It will premiere Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. (eastern time) in the Fall on CBS. I saw the promo at YouTube. Not sure what I thought about it, to be honest! There is a "new" show for next season. >"Moonlight"--it is about a p.i. who happens to be a vampire, oh, he is in >love with a mortal woman. Gee, does that sound familar? > Alex First time poster here so I hope I do this correctly. :-) I've been following the buzz for this show on various forums since CBS ordered it to go to pilot but I gotta say that I'm very surprised that it got picked up by the network. CBS had three supernatural type shows in development and of the three a zombie dramedy called Babylon Fields was the one that tested the best. Moonlight then called Twilight was only so-so and Demons about a Jesuit priest who performed exorcisms was described as weak. That had kind of bummed me out because my recent reemergance of love for FK had me pulling for something to fill the void left by FK and the possiblity of Twilight was what I latched on to. The on the surface differences and similarities are interesting to look at nevertheless. The extended preview available on the CBS website has "Mick" waking up in a coffin. Yeah for real. He has bottles, test tubes, and blood bags in his refrigerator and a clip currently available on youtube shows him looking in a mirror after his conversion and what he sees is a distorted demon. A lot of people are screaming Angel rip-off as are some articles I've read but there have been FK mentions by those who remember it. It's understandable I guess. Angel is still very fresh in a lot of people's minds and even in its heyday FK, despite such a strong fandom, was pretty obscure. From the preview I personally see more of the vampire themes that FK used rather than Angel but the show does seem to be going for a more optimistic approach with love being the one thing that can truly bring life into a vampire's existence.
