That always bothered me. He couldn't pretend anyone else did it because the
man I forget his name theoretically saw him come through it.
The other thing that bothered me about this episode is the court made no
effort to accomodate Nick's alleged allergy to the sun. They would have
known. After Natalie's brother was a crown prosecuter. I realize the
symbolism of the sun and they heightening the suspense but still.
I often wonder what would have happened if the people Nick put in prison
ever got together and discussed how Nick did it. He didn't hypnotize the
man to forget at the end of this episode. He just told him with some
satisfaction that no one would believe him.

After watching this episode twice, I have to agree. Now mind you the visual
cues others have mentioned I miss since I have no vision. I simply listen as
closely as is possible to whatever I'm watching. I questioned the window
now, but never did the first half-dozen times I'd seen it. But now that I'm
paying more attention, I think I'm picking up on more than I was before when
these episodes were first seen years ago.
