Subject: Lisa Ryder latest film!

I just saw "Jason X" - Jason Vorhees in Space, 450
years in the future. And Lisa Ryder had a wonderful
role in it. Playing a cyborg. Very cool, very sexy and
very revealing. (I don't believe the topless scene was
really her body. It had to be a prosthetic especially
since her nipples fell off.)

I'm glad that her career is doing well. I'd love to
see Nigel Bennett in some movies now! I hear Ger is in
American Psycho 2 (Though I believe that is direct to
video only). Whatever happened to Nigel's claim of
making his and P.N. Elrod's first book into a movie
with John Kapelos as the bad guy? I would LOVE to see
that made. Now would be the time to do it!

I wondered if that was "our" Lisa. She got a nice review in the Atlanta
paper, even though the reviewer pretty well blew off the film itself. I
have never gone to see a Friday the 13th movie in my life, but I may have
to make an exception this time. :-)

Nick Gray played a heavy in the episode with the psychic
who sensed what Nick (GerNick) is. In the last bit,
where the psychic gets shot and (Ger)Nick rescues the
kidnapped daughter, Nick is the kidnapper/killer who
doesn't have any lines. He does get tackled by Ger,
though. <g>

He's listed in the credits as a stuntman.

Yes! I haven't seen the movie yet, but I saw the trailer, and noticed that
the "Romy" girl from Andromenda was in the movie, which set me up for
recognizing Lisa Ryder (the first time I'd seen the trailer I didn't
recognize her at all, except her voice sounded a little familiar.)

Subject: Emyr Wyn Davies

GWD's brother, Emyr Whn Davies, was handcuffed in "Queen of Harps". I've
forgotten now exactly what Nick and Schanke were saying as they walked by, but
as I recall, it was something that was rather funny if you know that the
hapless criminal is related to Ger. It has also been said on the list that
EWD was also one of the harpist's people armed with pitchforks who threaten
Nick when he finds the harpist's body. I've never been able to figure out
which one, though, because of the hoods they wear.

Emyr Wyn Davies also turns up in "Beyond the Law". He's one of the guests at
the election night party in the background.

Emyr is pronounced with a short e in the first syllable, a long e in
the seconc (the y), and the stress on the first syllable.
