OK, gang, I have been behind on my messages but this is one thread that I *must* respond to... **Fanfare of Trumpets** Beck's Casting Choices for RHPS Dr. Frank N Furter: The mad scientist who oozes sex appeal. Who else for this role but LaCroix ? ;9 Rocky: The creation. Handsome, in a 'male-as-only-a-sex-object' way, but not the most intelligent boy around. Nick (Brick? who said anything about a _brick_ :)) could play this part with ease! Riff Raff and Magenta: The handyman and the housekeeper, second only to Frank but with their own agendas, portrayed by : Miklos and Jeanette. Columbia: Sweet girl, but only a groupie. Best known for her tap-dancing and her affection for Eddie. I think Tracy would bring a suitable *perkiness* to the part. Eddie: Rock & roll delivery boy with only half a brain. I can see Vachon in this, although he would be dreadfully underused in this role (I apologize to all Vaqueros). Brad: The hero. The average Joe who is placed in a bizarre situation and deals with it the best he can. Our beloved Schanke fits in here. Janet: The heroine. She's in for quite an education, but handles the drama, the tragedy, *and the men*, beautifully, just as Nat does each week. Dr. Scott: Rival scientist, and Eddie's uncle. Reese *could* do this, but I admit all of the character elements are not there. & The Criminologist: I realize he already has a part, but who besides LaCroix should narrate the film? And who would *dare* to suggest that he could not handle the double billing? There they be. The parts are full, and think of the interactions! The master/creation problems between Nick and LaCroix, Jeanette & Miklos' independence from the others, and best of all the relationships that Natalie has with Nick & LaCroix would unfold perfectly. (Think of the Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-me scene, or the bedroom scene with Frank and Janet. And think of these people in garter belts and fishnet stockings! So, it's been a REALLY long time since I've posted here and I know you're all dying to hear why, but you aren't going to hear that. No, you my delightful friends are going to hear the last few "you know you've been's" I've experienced in the last few weeks --not all of them MINE but still --they were said, so must be related:: You Know You've Been Watching Too Much Forever Knight When: You're coming home from the late movie with your best pal Anderson (you know him --he's the one that hung around during the last war, putting up fliers looking for me all over Toronto) and as the Alfred Police car (yep, there's only one) drives by he exclaims "Ohmygod! That was Nick Knight behind the wheel!" And my first comment to him was: "No it's not, he drives that monster of a caddie, remember?" And then he rationalizes -"Maybe he's undercover. You know we ARE *that* close to Canada.." YKYB....well maybe this is more of a "You've been hanging posters and living in the art building too long when.........." A recent developement --happening as we speak: I'm sitting here with my pals -Joe, Tad, and Anderson and while playing "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" we've stumbled upon the Famous Canadians HomePage. As Anderson scrolls down Joe exclaims "Hey! Geraint Wyn Davies! I know that guy, he's on that Forever Knight show!" Then Tad pipes in: "Yeah! I watch that show all the time! They used to show it on CBS 'Crime Time after Prime Time..'" ..you might be able to interpret how the conversation degenerated.. And as Joe strums on his guitar and we scroll and I type, I'm relating the tale of NATPE and Joe is absolutely amazed and says "So THAT'S what all those posters are around campus.." I must admit that I was surprised to finds my own pals were closet FK fans. Hey, I feel good...... He can handle it.) February -- Janette in a black mini-dress leaning across the bar at the Raven and whispering into Nicholaaaa's ear - Nick is wearing a very tight black t-shirt, a seductive grin and has Vampire eyes March -- Nick has just stepped out of the shower (sans shirt) to find LaCroix sitting in that big comfy chair - LaCroix looks very pleased with himself as he holds out a glass of human blood for Nicholas to enjoy April -- Natalie has just stepped out of the shower and is wearing a short, silk lavender robe She finds LaCroix standing, vamped out and wearing a black silk shirt and pants - and his sword pin The caption reads "It's time we had a little chat, my good _doctor._ May -- Vachon has just stepped out of the shower. June -- Natalie and Janette in evening clothes at the Raven -- both women have a drink in their hand-- They show mock surprise as Nick walks in on their conversation looking angsty, with his clothes full of bullet holes. July -- Schanke (in a Hawaiian t-shirt and shorts) is having a big backyard BBQ. He has a huge grin on his face and a huge burger in his hands. In the background, Nat (wearing a low-cut white sun dress) waves a catsup-coated french fry in front of Nick (wearing a tight dark-blue t-shirt and jeans) Nick is holding Nat's wrist tightly, but grinning. He looks about 18 years old. August -- LaCroix, Nick and Vachon (all dressed in something tight and black) simultaneously reach across the bar at the Raven for a bottle of blood -- Janette (in red velvet) looks on September -- Vachon (black jeans and t-shirt) 'dips' Tracy (tight red mini-dress) in a dance - Tracy cannot see that having her neck exposed thus has caused Vachon to vamp out. October -- Flashback scene: Nick (with long hair) and LaCroix (swabby mode) watch as Janette (vamped-out) looks up from a kill November -- LaCroix, Nick, and Janette lying back on a haystack LaCroix and Janette have a glass of blood in hand - Nick has that 'flashback look' on his face -- LaCroix gives Janette a knowing glance December -- The whole gang from all 3 seasons in a group shot wearing reproductions of Nick's black silk pajamas. They stand in Vachon's church with candles blazing around them. LaCroix stands in the back wearing sunglasses. You can thank them for airing the show, ask for fourth season, ask for a better timeslot, complain about USA's handling of the series and asking that they do better, whine about pre-emptions, demand merchandise . . . any or all of the above. But you MUST write. You're on the honor system. The karma you save will be your own. URL in my sig. And it will only be up there a couple of weeks. Regards and enjoy-- When we get a fourth season, the hair GOES. susang@v....... -- http://www.vitinc.com/~susang Get all your info for Saving Forever Knight from: http://members.aol.com/CuznJamiMR/SaveForeverKnight.html ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Feb 1996 13:50:27 -0500 From: Tippi Blevins <TippiNB@a.......> Subject: Re: LaCroix's dog Felicia O'Sullivan wrote: >Tippi Blevins writes: > >>Why does Lacroix even need a dog? The tv guide says its showing The Human Factor, so guess I missed Dead of Night (?). *wail* I would suggest bombarding WPRI with thanks etc. . . but does anyone know their number, etc. . .? The lady at their programming department said that they will not air FK this Saturday night, but they will air FK on Sunday midnight and TV Guide has an error. And she said they will back their schedule next week; they will air FK on Saturday and Sunday at midnights. The lady was very nice and seems to know about the situation very well. I think that many fans had already called them. Even the lady who answered my call first and connected to the programming department knows about FK and said "It is one hour pushed back (from 11:00 p.m. to midnight)," immediately. I hope that their answer is true and I am looking forward to watching the new episode at this midnight. I had asked a question about a family relationship at the change of the 17th/18th dynasty in Egypt on the ANE (ancient near east) discussion list, and I got some requests to summarize the messages I got, and one of the requests ended with a comment about waiting for something on A&E and so I decided to put a comment at the end of my summary that I was going to shut down the scholarly mode and trundle off to watch the "trials and tribulations of the vampire population of Toronto on Forever Knight" and I signed on this morning to get a response from someone who had provided me with one of the sources I cited (sorry the sentence is too long). Anyway, he watches Forever Knight too (as everyone else is telling their stories where they run across FK fans I wanted to tell one too). I am going to the conference on Egyptology in April and now everyone there will be wanting to talk about vampires (well, not really, but we can fantasize). The Kansas City station that runs FK has a web page, and I have sent them a positive comment. but the message got screwed up so I have to retry it later today, in case it didn't get through.
