I just tried to access KnightWind's Nook, and found it gone. With it go our
FORKNI-L archives.

I knew Nancy Braman hadn't been updating. Last year, when my computer
crashed and--for a while--I had no e-mail access, I tried to find current
list digests in her archive. There were none; but then things have been
very quiet, so I thought nothing of it.

More recently, I used the site to check something or other. So I know it
was there ... maybe a couple of months ago.

The back-up contact list I've put on this old laptop is years out of date.
Does anyone have an e-mail address for Nancy?

If anyone can reach her to get them, I can host the archives.

Thanks! However, Judy Camarella has e-mailed me to say that it IS still up.
(Great relief.)

The bookmark was from a back-up that I'd imported to my mother's old laptop
when my computer crashed. It's a different web address from the one Judy
sent me. It looks as though I just had an old URL.

I think we've lost so many sites that I'm getting paranoid.

I'm sure you're aware of AO3, but I was unfamiliar with some of the
archival services that they can provide, and found this article
enlightening.

The dust may not have been bitten, but it has definitely settled a bit.
I haven't abandoned the archives at KnightWind's Nook, but RL (including
a very major job change) has resulted in serious neglect. However, I do
have all the digests, and sometime over the summer break I hope to bring
it up to date, and in due course get back to html-izing the earlier ones
for the Dusty Vaults page.
