Subject: NB - The Shape of Water
I finally got to see the movie "The Shape of Water" on DVD this week and I
totally bolted up and said "THAT'S Nigel Bennett"!!
His Russian language sounded flawless - but I don't speak Russian. Does
anybody know if he did it phonetically or does he speak the language?
Still a huge fan of his after all these years!

Nigel does not speak Russian. I was at a con where he appeared while FK was
still on the air. He was preparing to do a commercial in which he had to
speak Russian and mentioned that he was learning them phonetically. He then
said them for us. I once took a couple of years of Russian -- he sounded
all right to me, but I'm not a native speaker.
