The "Damn you, Nicholas" part is in there. Filming either stopped as LC raised the stake, or the film was cut at that point. I think the first is what happened. The Kangaroo is only comic "change pages" of the type that happen in normal shooting for any show. Normally, they are identified by the color of the pages. The colors can get pretty wild, depending on how man revisions there are. These, supposedly, were on "goldenplaid." They contain fake changes written as comic relief for the cast. My favorite of the ones I remember goes like this (from memory), Nick: (to the Captain) I can talk to the Kangaroo. I know his case. I've arrested him. Drunk and disorderly. Captain: You or the Kangaroo? Nick: Both.
