Should it be Firelighters? or Hearth-Huggers? ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 8 Sep 2012 08:14:03 -0700 From: Naia Zifu <tenou_haruka3@y.......> Subject: Re: More faction icons What brand of guitar does Vachon have? I wouldn't want to call it "Fender Benders" or something if it's not that. Vachon's church- Iglesia Aficionados (iglesia being church in Spanish, so says Google Translate) Screed's lair- House of Mouse ('cause rats don't rhyme) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 9 Sep 2012 06:54:38 -0400 From: Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......> Subject: Re: A faction for fireplace fans On Fri, 7 Sep 2012, Andrew wrote: > Old Flames? > Grate Expectations? Andrew, these are great! I love the puns. My only reservation with the second one is that I'm not quite sure that anyone would actually write, "I'm a Grate Expectation." And, of course, the pun wouldn't come through if you *said* it (but that's not so important, since fandom is mostly written, isn't it?) On the other hand, "an Old Flame" is quite sayable--and it has the enormous plus that it applies both to the fireplace (if lit) *and* the dragon. At least, given its location, I'm sure that has to be a fire dragon. I'd vote for Old Flames: it's cute and clever. Assuming there is such a faction, of course, for I don't know their name. :-) So far, all I've come up with are the less-than-brilliant "Guitarists" and "Strummers". Any Vaqueras keen on the guitar? (Anyone else? Doesn't *have* to be a Vaq subfaction.)
