Subject: Which episode, please? In which episode does Nick sit on the floor of the loft, wearing a billowing white shirt, spinning playing cards into an upturned object. A top hat? Someone posted here that this particular scene hadn't been included on the DVDs. A pity, if so, as it's a quietly affecting scene and Geraint looks touchingly young. I'd like to dispose of most of my FK VHS tapes now that I have the DVDs (and a broken DVD player) but keep the ep which includes this scene. Thank you. A top hat? I don't remember that exactly. I remember a scene where he was laying a spread of Tarot cards. Like Marel, I don't remember what ep that was from, only that I'm pretty sure it was first season. A top hat? > Sounds like 2 different eps. The white shirt where he looks really young sounds like 'Last Act'... yet I think the tarot cards one sounds like its from "Dying for Fame" like Laurie said. Dont remember if either scene is or is not on the dvds as I haven't watched them in ages. Due to real life crazy-ness I've had to be content with seeing FK occasionally on Chiller. -Amanda "This dark gift brings enlightened sight, as if the sun's bright rays illuminate sweet mortal forms to take my breath away." http://www.darksideoftheglass.com http://lestat.darksideoftheglass.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 May 2010 11:22:11 -0400 From: Nickis Mom <nickismom1228@a.......> Subject: Re: Which episode, please? I thought he was lying at first playing chess, then he lay on his back. In this one he had pajamas on I htink and a robe which was open and you could see his chest. No billowy shirt but he did pitch cards and a hat for a while. He was trying to pass time and was conflicted about something... jeannie -----Original Message----- From: Laurie of the Isles <laudon1228@y.......> To: FORKNI-L@l....... Weren't these all part of the first season "filler" scenes? Like the putting golf balls, sitting up in the loft window, sitting on the motorcycle, bouncing a ball, filling bottles with blood in a big white poofy shirt, etc.? All in the first season. Come to think of it, I think you're right. The first season was coproduced by a German production company for airing in Europe which has less (or no) commercial breaks. So they had to have filler scenes to take up the time, but that couldn't have essential plot information in them. -Amanda "This dark gift brings enlightened sight, as if the sun's bright rays illuminate sweet mortal forms to take my breath away." http://www.darksideoftheglass.com http://lestat.darksideoftheglass.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 May 2010 13:37:12 -0400 From: Portia Eins <portiaeins@g.......> Subject: Re: FORKNI-L Digest - 20 Apr 2010 to 21 Apr 2010 (#2010-75) Now, why HAVEN'T I been using this one???
