The leather of it looks like either old motorcycle headgear or something a WW1 pilot would wear...except why are the ears uncovered? - ain't that just like a guy, pass up the brunette in hand to chase after the cute snow blonde scampering past. Well...I guess in this case...he got what was coming to him. - "He is allergic to garlic, sunlight and food. He's about 450 and he can fly?" Yeah, you'd probably get a funny look with that line in an emergency room. - Yeah cats! What tequila hangover put Tracy in a tie? The suit is fine...just don't put a woman in a tie. They are the dumbest male fashion statement on the planet...no need to inflict that upon someone who chromosomes are XX. - is it just me...or does LaCroix seem a little "afraid" when he is lecturing Nick about the impossibility that some germ is killing Screed. Just a glimmer that he remembers that Nick is generally correct about what he sees and fears the reality is what Nick is reporting...a plague deadly to vampires. - boy, vampires are really bad when sick. Makes my nieces look like total princesses when they have a bad cold. - I like the subplot that Natalie has second-thoughts about her career path. That she has regrets that she isn't in an aspect of the medical profession where she can more actively save lives instead of always figuring out what killed somebody. - I like Natalie's anger at Nick's morbid idea that the vampire plague is some kind of justice from God. She is such a fundamental counter-balance to Nick's "deadness" in so many alive ways. - interesting. The character who matches Natalie's determination for survival is LaCroix. Screed, Vachon and Nick all seem resigned to their fates. LaCroix will only be dragged kicking, screaming and clawing into oblivion. Maybe it takes more than immortality to really survive two millenia. - "See you in Hell, Sailor." There is something so appropriate about Vachon using that line as the end of the show. His little head-shake at Nick about "did you expect a priest?" does speak about Vachon's beliefs. He is as convinced of his eventual damnation as Nick is. I actually know why the ears are uncovered. I was in a local production of "Rocky Horror Show" as a "phantom" and we got to pick our own persona. I chose loosely Amelia Earhart just so I could wear such a cap. I quickly found they are VERY hot on stage. So I asked Greg Kramer how he could stand it under tv production lights - it is because he cut slits for the ears in the cap. By the way, it is his cap. --Libs ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 22 Dec 2009 to 23 Dec 2009 (#2009-225) ***************************************************************
