My oldest friend serves them as a treat to her family every now and then. They come ready-made frozen in the grocery store as well. During Lent, just about every fish fry has pierogies as an alternative to fish. My favorite are potato and sauerkraut. But they come in many varieties of cheese, potato and onion variations. some of the best pierogies are available in the Slavic Village neighborhood. Hand made, huge and tasty. They put the frozen stuff to shame. On Wed, Jun 3, 2009 at 1:14 AM, Angela Gottfred <agottfre@telusplanet.net>wrote: > It's the "I Love Perogies Polka". GWD directed it, btw. Walt Doherty wdoherty5@c....... We do buy ready-made once in a while, but they're never as good as homemade! We like potato, apricot, and plum, served with a dollop of sour cream. We boil them first, then fry them in butter. Yum! For those of you who have been reading Rich Morris' excellent 'The 10 Doctors' webcomic, you might be interested in his new webcomic, called 'Forever Janette', a DW/FK crossover webcomic. To find that and all his other webcomics, just visit http://comics.shipsinker.com/comic-archives/ and start looking. (The 10 Doctors is AWESOME, btw.)
