I've been participating the last several years, and being someone
that lives far from my family (they are in Cleveland, I am in
Seattle) it *truly* makes a huge difference. Our community is so rich
and vibrant. I've met people literally around the globe in my travels
from this list and made some true and lasting friendships in the
process. And, as I did last year, if you are on the exchange list you
get a little something extra from me...a special FK holiday story
that I don't post to the list ;)

I too have participated in the Card Exchange for a number of years. Kristin's
unexpected gift was one of the highlights last year! I am glad that you
are going to do this again!

Just a suggestion:
Please put FK inside the card when you sign it. One year we received cards
and didn't know who sent them. Due to business associates, etc. we had no
idea who they were from.
