Subject: My FK Moment(s)

Went on a 120 mile round trip to a rock concert last night with my best
friend, also a fan of Forever Knight. On the way there, we drove past
Knight Recovery Limited (so my mind initially went along the lines of "For
when you've had too much bloodwine, Nicholas? Or merely too much blood?",
rather than "What, he runs his own service just to look after the caddy?").

The venue, Lakeside Leisure Centre, has a logo plastered everywhere, of the
outline of a bird superimposed over the word 'Lakeside' - it was halfway
through the evening before I realised it *wasn't* a raven! (It was a
kingfisher....)

And on the way home as we pulled off the M25 back onto my local roads, I
glanced down at the in-car clock - it was 12.28am, so of course I had to
start intoning "He was brought across in 1228..."!

BTW - the concert was great even without the triple FK moments!

Hey all - does anyone remember what subway stop was going to get blown up in
Black Buddha? - the one Tracy sat outside of, talking on her cell phone,
saying "There's no one here for me."

(I wish they'd release season 3 on DVD already!)

Thanks,
Bonnie

Subject: Still time to wish Greg "Screed" Kramer a Happy Birthday!

I've gotten a FEW responders, but would like a lot more ;-) These messages
will be directly sent to the droog. Let's show Greg we do wish him a happy
birthday!

Here's my original post. (If Fenix happens to read this, could she re-send
me the story for him along with permission to archive it to the
GKFK/Screed/Ratpack website?)

It's that time of the year. Bonnie and I have both been busy so haven't had
time to do a proper birthday package for our favorite droog. He'd probably say
 he has enough stuff anyway...

So, instead, we'd like to gather e-mails for him! E-mail me OFF-LIST at
_Libratsie@a......._ (mailto:Libratsie@a.......) telling Greg a little about
yourself (the crazier, the better although mundane is fine, too). Write him a
little poem. Just wish him a happy birthday! Tell him how much you love his
books
if you've read them. Anything. I'll forward all the message to him at once on
his birthday (I think March 11, Bonnie will correct me if I'm wrong<g>)

He really does enjoy learning about his fans! Years ago, I did a printed
"book" of the Ratpack for him and he asked lots of questions about folksies
after reading through it.

I also issued a "Screed's Birthday Suit" challenge on fkfic-l a few weeks
ago. I'll be contacting the authors to get permission to post those to
Greg's/Screed's/The Ratpack's webpage where he can put his peepers on them at
his convenience.

There's still time to send a card, but you'll have to hurry. Those need to
be send to Bonnie, so e-mail her for the specifics at _callalily@l......._
(mailto:callalily@l.......)

We hear about Ger and Nigel a lot, let's show one of the other FK actors who
made the show so special that we STILL think of him fondly ;-D

Subject: Location shoots for FK ( WAS) subway

When I was in Toronto last fall and took one of the
Location tours, I was amazed at how the film edits
were both alike and vastly different from the reality.
It was really amazing to see the actual facades of the
spots. I live in Seattle, which has a healthy film
industry, and a bit of experience in the media
industry, and it was almost enough to inspire me to
try my hand at being a location scout!

Well, Schanke already has a duck light, and I thought
the lights matched the PJs..

Kewl FK moments, Linda. I had one sort of last night.
I was reading my new James Patterson book, and they
mentioned an ME. I was shocked when she stood and was
described as an older woman with grey hair...thats
wrong......LOL
