I was sitting watching the evening news with my dad and a car
commercial came on.  The tagline was....

"The largest trunk... one more reason why the Mercury Marquis is the
best value in it's class."

I thought... wow!  are they marketing cars to vampires now???

Gary Farmer was also in Tony Hillerman's, _Thief of Time_ on MYSTERY!, which
showed on our PBS stations here in Cleveland this past Wednesday.

I, too, had an automotive FK moment this past week.  I had the local news on
while doing housework, and when I walked by the TV, there was a mangled
sixties-series seafoam and white convertible on the screen.  I definitely
did a double-take!  Turned out, it was a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville that had
colided with a Chevy S-10 at a local intersction.  Neither vehicle came out
of the crash well, but I didn't hear how the driver's fared.
