Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I received an email from Lion's Gate that
the entire first season of Tracker is scheduled to be released this summer in
six DVD package. Just thought I'd pass it along.

sigh... it's just not fair.

Please send your emails and phonecalls to TPTB telling
them you want FK on video and/or DVD!!! If Lionsgate
can do it for a show with only 22 eps, why can't SONY
for FK which has 3 seasons of episodes and a constant
fan base?

preorders for the "Limited Edition" Tracker DVD 6-disc

So what's Lions Gate Ent. email addy? How about we deluge their web site
with 'pre-orders' of Forever Knight. Maybe they'll get the hint.

I hunt for Zin every week and he's getting harder to
find. Last week I saw his back as he stood at the
train station watching the other aliens arrive. Even
though that's the only glimpse of him, I kept the
episode anyway.

I have found an e-mail address on Lionsgate's website. If you would like to
request the addition of Forever Knight to DVD, please e-mail them here:

feedback@lgecorp.com

If a series like Tracker can be on DVD, Forever Knight surely can be as
well.

Another good company to e-mail is Acorn Media: info@acornmedia.com

My sick mind wonders if there is a story out there where we can tie all the
shows that the FK alumni have appeared in within an FK story. Not the plot
lines, mind you, but the show title.

Some thoughts:
LaCroix (circa 1400): Nicolas -- Now listen carefully. You take angles
Theta and Psi and factor them by 2.

Tracy: Nick, look! The galaxy Andromeda! Do you think we'll ever get
there?
Nick: Not in your lifetime.

Nick to Nat: See how the moon reflects off the black waters of the
harbour?

Apologies offered as flame suit donned

Don't know about a story, but I certainly liked your

there's no point in writing to Lion's Gate to request FK on DVD. LG
doesn't own FK and I'm sure they couldn't care less about promoting
someone else's show.

Subject: May Birthdays

Hi Y'all!

In an effort to keep my aging, forgetful brain from interfering with the
celebration of birthdays on their proper days AND because there are quite
a few birthdays this month, I am posting a list of the birthdays for
this month. I will continue to post the celebrity birthdays and
significant events for each day as they come up. But, just in case I
forget, here's who's having a birthday this month:

May 5 Mildred G. Cady, cmildre1@n.......
                Merc Mommy General
May 6 Cousin Michelle mlp9@d.......
May 7 kimmer kimmertom@q.......
                Cousin Janine (Fozzard) jfozzard@h.......
May 8 Susan Ellen Field SField8067@a.......
                Anita K. Blake AKBlake@l.......
May 9 Eve umdutto3@c.......
May 19 M.L. Wirick wirickml@g.......
May 24 Tamara (Mom-ra) momra1@l.......
May 25 Sandra Gray nitelvr@v.......
May 27 Cindy cindybre74@a.......

As usual, PLEASE send birthday greetings to the above e-mail addresses
and NOT to the list.

If you would like to be added to the birthday announcements, please send
your name, birthdate (no year needed), and e-mail address to me PRIVATELY
at eowyn3@j....... and I'll be glad to add you.

Oh yeah, I need to ask y'all a favor. If you know of any significant
dates or events that are FK related (such as the premiere date, actors'
birthdays or LC's Conversion day [Okay, Cousins and NA's you can quit
screaming. I know I should know this but I haven't got it written down
anywhere...what do you expect? I'm a Knightie! And darn proud of it!
<G>]) that should be included in the celebrity birthdays or significant
events, e-mail me PRIVATELY at eowyn3@j....... and I'll put them in the
file for the appropriate day. Thanks for your help!

This could be a fun little game. Here's my contribution for a bunch of
Ger's other TV shows:

LaCroix: "Really, Nicholas. You think you're such a great detective and
yet you can't find your own wristwatch?"

Urs: "But I *like* dancing in the dark!"

Nat: "Nick, Nick! I saw my ghost Mom last night!"
Nick: "I thought you buried her in Niagara Falls"

Janette: "Hush! Don't wake the little baby - you know how hungry
fledglings are when they first wake up."

Nick: "Did you get anything from the FBI about that gang?"
Schanke: "Yeah, turns out the James Boys are from Syracuse"

Schanke: "Manomanoman! Nick goes running into those gun battles like he
was Robocop or something."

Anyone else? Don't blame me; blame the cold medication that I'm OD'd on <g>

I have nothing to add (those were great by the way, Marg.
Although I didn't get the one about the wristwatch) I
just noticed something as I was checking all these titles
on IMDB. Does anyone else find it amusing that Ger's
character in "Dancing in the Dark" is called Dr. Lambert?

I'll admit that I've never seen Lexx. In fact, the only part I've seen
Nigel Bennett in other than FK was an episonde of La Femme Nikita (which I
used to watch avidly). He was a German bad guy (natch) and while his German
accent was pretty good, I kept laughing because it was SO contrary to my
mental picture of Nigel. The thing I remember though, is at one point
Nikita asks him a question, and there's a paused, and then he answeres very
quietly, "yes". I stopped laughing IMMEDIATLY, because it was said in THAT
tone, so PURELY uncle that I got goosebumps from head to foot!
Yea for Nigel Bennett!

Most amusing! Done on purpose, perchance?

Those were so funny, Marg! I didn't get the one about the wristwatch, either.

Is Lionsgate a company that puts out DVDs/Videos from

production company that makes Tracker? If the later is
the case, then they have no power to bring out FK on
DVD.

Except that he was playing a Russian named
Petrovich...<g> (and I thought it was a terrible accent,
too much Boris Badinoff in it. I kept expecting him to
say, "Where is moose and squirrel?" <g>).

Oh yes. He plays a shrink and comes into the film in last 20 minutes. I
wonder if he decided on "Lambert". JudyL

Um... actually, it was Petroussian (which is really an Armenian name, but
then the character could have been a Russian of Armenian descent).

Oh, I thought it was pretty good, actually. IMHO, of course.

I thought it was Petrosian or something like that, of course, I didn't
actually see it. I'm beginning to wish I had, though, I would have enjoyed
the Badinoff accent. <G>

<<I love it when Nigel's inner Uncle comes out! :-)>>

What a perfect way of putting it! It really does seem that way sometimes.

On the subject of Lisa Ryder in "Jason X," I saw the trailer on TV, and she
was mentioned rather prominently as being one of the stars. I think the ad
was on the Sci-Fi channel, so I guess her part in "Andromeda" has really
brought her some name recognition. Always nice to see our FK alumni doing
well for themselves.

(sigh) Yeah, Petroussian. That's what happens when you
try to think without the required 3 cups of morning tea.
Thanks for the correction.

Of course, in Nikita they never really specify the
country in which they're blowing up buildings/killing
politicians/wiping out terrorist cells. They all look
suspiciously like Toronto, though (they blew up Casa
Loma at least 5 times <g>).

> Oh, I thought it was pretty good, actually. IMHO, of course.

I was judging it on the basis of how my coworkers Igor
and Kazimir speak English. But as usual, YMMV. IMHO. And
all that. <g>

There is a brandnew channel in Germany, Tele5, and they are
connected with Tele Muenchen, who co-produced FK.
They are starting to air the series again!
Unfortunately only a part of the country gets it by cable,
the rest only via satellite. Now guess where I live :(

Out of curiousity, is this the full-length 60 min version, that even had
nudity in some season 1 early episodes? I know TeleMuenchen aired them when
it first came out.
