Hmmm, excuse my curiosity... how is the show going to be contrasted and/or
compared with the women's movement?
I'm actually not trying to be sarcastic; I realise that some episodes have
dealt with issues relevant to women, but I genuinely don't understand how the
show and the _movement_ itself can be compared.
For that matter, as the lone "humourless masculinist" :-) here, I can probably
point to a few episodes also dealing with issues relevant to men, but I
wouldn't try to connect the show with the men's movement. (perhaps I might -
who knows?)

Just to add to this..even if you have written..write again! Thank them
for showing the 2 parts of Black Buddha tonight,anything,lets just get
their attention! :)
I think too that if the letters keep pouring in that it will look less
like an organized effort and that it is genuinely concerned fans,which of
course we all are,writing in.

In case it got lost in the shuffle:
Could one of our New York area people (lurker or 'regular'; anyone!) find
out more about this?
An old friend of mine told me that Fangoria was having its annual
convention in NYC this coming weekend. She said she thought it might be
the hotel across the street from Penn Station, but wasn't sure. Without a
doubt, this would be a perfect flyer opportunity. I have no money,
resources, health or energy, but someone with at least two of the above
might be able to scope it out?

Hi all,,
My party which was supposed to be this past weekend has been
rescheduled for Jan 20. This is not going to change even if it's just
me and lots of food and drink. So, come one and come all to Boston
so we can be merry and rejoice in togetherness. Everyone is welcome
to crash in my moderately sized one-bedroom apartment. However,
there's no overnight parking except in town lots so it's doable, just
a pain in the rear. (d**n all you 90 dollars/month parking space
landlords :-) ) E-mail me for directions etc. I hope you guys can
all come and bring your stuff whatever that means to you. (I've only
got tapes.)

I would like to issue a challenge to all AOL subscribers to write

Hi all,
Just a reminder that I will be having a party in the LA, California area on
January 13th.
I understand that this is the day that Strings is scheduled to air. I live in
Placentia which is 15 minutes north of Disneyland in Orange County.
I generally start my parties at 1pm and they end when they end. In this
case, it should be sometime after the episode airing. FK begins at 12:35 am
on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
Be prepared! I'm a night owl.
