Subject: Downloading Yahoo groups
If anyone on list wants to get a copy of the messages in their Yahoo groups,
it is possible to have Yahoo download them for you. WARNING: if you want
this, do it fast: they have to get your request a couple of days before
they delete the archives - and they're doing that on Dec 14th.
If you're not sure how to do this: the link you want is
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/getmydata
If it works for you the way it did for me, you need to enter your email
address and password. Then you go to a page where you do a CAPTCHA to prove
you aren't a bot. And then you get a link to request the download.
They'll send you the files in a compressed format. There are more details

Subject: Info on "fkwarsum" Yahoo Group
In one of the messages on an FK Yahoo Group I was looking at, there was
mention of a list called "fkwarsum". It no longer seems to exist; so I
wonder if someone out there can tell me more about it.
From the context, it seems to have been created for war reporters to post
their war summaries.
