Lots of Lisas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun, 12 Jul 2015 00:29:44 -0400 From: Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......> Subject: The roster of Warleaders In editing the Forever Knight Wiki, I've noticed that there are some war articles where we need information on who the warleaders were. Now I realize that, in a few cases, people may have decided to remain anonymous. Or use a pseudonym. Sometimes, though, this information may have been revealed after the war was over, but never found it onto the war site. So, this is what I have: 1. A Call to Arms (1994) - Laurie Salopek 2. Application Forthcoming (1994) - Susan Garrett 3. All Things Fun (1994) - ????? 4. Coup D'Etat (1995)- Jennise and Karin 5. Name of the game is "Chess" (1995) - Jennie Hayes 6. (no warleader) 7. Dead Man's Party (1996) - ????? 8. Forever Friday Night (1997) - "Cinderella" (JMR) 9. Prepare Yourself. It's Going To Be a Long Night. (1998) - MeriBeth Anthony 10. Winds of War (1999) - Gregor and Drusilla 11. We Are Each Other (2001) - Gwyneth Meirionfa 12. Romancing the Stone (2004) - Nancy Kaminski 13. Dedicated to Susan Garrett (2010) - Arletta Asbury & Cousin Shelley 14. The Unexpected Party (2013) - anonymous 15. Twenty Years On (2014) - none So: can anyone remember who the warleaders were for War 3 and War 7? For War 4, is this Jennise Hall? And which Karin is it? (We have at least two fans with that name: Karin Plite and Karin Welss.) For Wars 9 through 11: are these real names or pseudonyms? (And, if the latter, were they "for the duration" or may they now be linked to the real names?) Any help greatly appreciated, and all that.... Quite a few FK fans are named Lisa. We've got Lisas Clevenger, Harvey, Hobbs, Patnaude, and Prince (not to mention McDavid!). So it's easy to get people confused if they haven't put their surname on a story. I've been working my way through the various archives making wiki articles for fanfic authors. In the JADFE archive, there's an author who is listed simply as "Lisa". One of her stories, "You're On The Air", I have already identified as written by Lisa Prince; and presumably its sequel is, too. Both were written in 1996. However, several other stories are by Lisa a/k/a KnightOwl (e.g. "Cries of the Knight", "Madness of Love"). These were written in 1998-2000. So, has JADFE got two different Lisas mixed together? Or did Lisa Prince write her later stories as KnightOwl? If someone knows, I'd appreciate it if you'd get in touch with me. I don't want to mix up two different authors.
