It sure sounds like a good excuse, Liz.  A weekend would be just enough
time for people to have 1 adventure, 1 mis-adventure, or 1 bar fight. Or
for 1 attack and 1 retaliation. Or for 1 small mystery to be investigated.

It could work, if people could agree on the parameters that would keep it
contained within a set time frame, and lay down some ground rules so that
things don't spiral out of control with things getting too elaborate or
too complex to be wrapped up in a satisfying (or at least mostly
satisfying) way by the end of the time period.
