There are several times that you see him being given injectable meds(like the litovuterine) that affect him. I doubt that he'd get much reaction to a normal medication in normal doses but that's just guessing. With a heart beat every 10 min or so, there is not enough blood flow for meds to really be metabolized unless you mixed it in the blood. Like mixing blood with alcohol... why not mix blood with coffee?
