Like, Nick only being a couple hundred years old in the movie version instead of the fateful 'brought across in 1228.' There's no way I could see Michael Nader's LaCroix as a Roman general - more likely he'd be very close in age to Jean-Philippe, or whatever his name was. It worked for me in the movie scenario; it still works in first-season world while LC is a scorch on the loft door to an extent. Nigel Bennett's bleached hair in Season 1 says to me that LaCroix's character was in a process of developing from movie LC to our beloved Uncle. Michael Nader's LaCroix? Would totally have said "release your inhibitions by GETTING NAKED!!" So, um, yeah, I can totally see where you're coming from, McLisa. Meanwhile, I was pretty meh about Rick Springfield as Nick. It was kind of surreal, too, because there were scenes where wardrobe looked *identical* to stuff on the show. My brain was, like, "This dark-haired dude is wearing Nick's purple T-shirt! Does he know?" <waves> Bonnie 'Llamababe' Rutledge "The touch, the feel, of cotton!" > On Mar 23, 2014, at 6:52 PM, L McDavid <mclisa1014@g.......> wrote: > > My reaction to the Nader LaCroix was just the opposite.
