De-lurking after a long absence... I have to say that any thought of rebooting FK makes me cringe. I can't get away from the thought that some brainless TV exec, who is younger than some of my favourite shoes, will have 'ideas'. You know the sort of statement that is released whenever some much-loved show is revamped. "Of course, the original was of its time." Translation: Its fans are now old and not the target of advertisers. "Its needs to be refreshed for a new, younger, more sophisticated audience." Translation: I have no clue as to why it was popular in the first place, and frankly don't care. There will be graphic violence, sex and - if possible - strong language. We don't need to worry about a plot, they can just look at the pretty men (who take their shirts off a lot regardless of the climate) and the dim (barely legal) female they all fight over. ----- I know its cynical, but I see good shows cancelled quickly and utter trash going on and on and on.
