HI Y'all! Once again I'm asking for Katrinka to check in and let us know she's okay. A friend here in Texas has relatives that live in Yukon and when she visits them, she says they go through El Reno (the Weather Channel Tornado Hunt crew was hit by a very strong tornado near El Reno). Her family was in OKC to watch a soccer game and got stuck at the stadium because of the flooding. I know now Kat lives well south of OKC and was probably already home from school but I'd rather know for sure from her that she's okay! So Kat...check in please! I haven't heard from Katrinka personally, but we have mutual friends and I haven't heard any of them were affected by the storm so she should be fine. Arkansas, where I live, haven't had MANY tornadoes, and none in my immediate area. However, we have a lot of flooding. --Libs (Yes, I'm still missing Greg Kramer very much, especially as I auditioned for a movie today and he's not here for me to tell. sigh.) ***** HI Y'all! Once again I'm asking for Katrinka to check in and let us know she's okay. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jun 2013 19:01:38 -0700 From: katrinka <katrinka@f.......> Subject: Re: Hey, Kat! I am fine. Yes El Reno got hit, and so did Union City. (I am only 25 miles from that) but honestly I am okay. the street I go down to get home got hit but I came out unscathed. It was very dangerous because at least one channel told people to get in their cars and head south. One of the major roads was down to one lane and backed up because of the moore tornado. it was like a parking lot, and was not safe. we've had too many tornado's lately. One was the Moore twister, one on Thursday (Which did hit part of Chickasha, but I was at school) and one last night. I was very lucky not to get hit. thanks for asking. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jun 2013 19:52:36 -0700 From: Andrew Caruthers <slinter@j.......> Subject: Re: Like it's 1992..? Subject: Looking for Mel About the FK Fiction Archive Posted on behalf of Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......>...the list hamsters are playing tricks on her the last couple of days. Trying to get a hold of Mel.The main FK fiction archive has be en giving an error message, "This account has been suspended." Does anyone have Mel's e-address, and can get in touch to find out what's going on? The domain is registered until 2016, so it's not that. In the meantime, Steph has kindly uploaded her back-up file of the site. A mirror of the archive can therefore be found at http://www.foreverknight.org/www.fkfanfic.com/ Although this doesn't contain the small number of stories that were uploaded to Mel's new version of the site, it has all of the original collection. (And it also has a few things that got lost from Mel's back-up, such as the Forever Knight Bookcover Contest.) Thanks!
