He was the "re -cast" Miklos in the Raven's Cellar. Tracy/Miklos fanfic. I guess you could stretch that to the Cousins since Miklos works for LaCroix? :) http://aericura.populli.net/cellar.html Cloud ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jun 2012 15:50:01 -0400 From: Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......> Subject: Re: Help with Cousins subfactions Well, if neither McLisa nor Cousin Tok has ever heard of the Not-So Vestal Virgins, Swabbies, Swiss-Cheesers, et. al., then I guess I can leave them off my icon list. They won't be needing wiki pages, either! The "Not-So Vestal Virgins" is such a cool name that maybe we ought to put one together. Who would be in it? Whow would be its principle characters? Anyway, I think it would be a lot more fun that the plain, old "Vestal Virgins". ;-) Walt > Well, if neither McLisa nor Cousin Tok has ever heard of the Not-So Vestal > Virgins, Swabbies, Swiss-Cheesers, et. al., then I guess I can leave them > off my icon list. They won't be needing wiki pages, either! The Not So Vestal Virgins are a part of Nunkies Anonymous. It's not a formal faction, but rather a sort of sub-faction, just part of the whole NA experience presided over by High Priestess Texas Jules. Well, icons are only part of it. (Though a big part, nowadays.) There's also the question of the wiki, and the article about them. This is what I know about the Convent of the Decadent Sin Sisters. They seem to basically have been a writers' group--one of several FK writers groups, each of which had its own particular nature, at least some of which get referred to as "factions" in the longer lists. The Decadent Sin Sisters wrote "adult" fiction. According to their main website, the Convent was founded in May/June 1997 on IRC as a joke, on the #N&NPackers EFnet IRC channel. It later expanded to include members of other factions, with some 20 members. The site says, "The Convent has been established to carry on the romantic feel of the series that was left behind in favor of action during most of the third season." Their main website still exists at http://dssconvent.tripod.com/, where you can find a page on their history and a list of members. If they'd only been a smut-writing group, sharing stories around a sympathetic audience, that would have been one thing. However, their members list indicates that they generally wrote under pseudonyms--not the usual sort (which were also listed), but giving themselves "convent titles" such as Sister Amoursia, Sister Sensualia, and Sister Aprhodasia. Lots of fun, I'm sure, when you look at it from *their* POV. The whole tone of the website indicates that they tried to take things...um...as unseriously as possible. They used to have a story archive at http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Academy/3265/, which disappeared years ago. The index page is on the Wayback Machine, but none of the stories is listed by name, nor archived. I guess, to get more info, one would need to hear from someone who belonged to the group.
