Subject: FKFicFest 2012 Sign-Ups Open Through 5/25
It's time again for FKFicFest! This will be our third round of this
annual FK ficathon game, based out of LiveJournal/Dreamwidth but open
to all. This year, we will post our stories directly to the AO3
(Archive Of Our Own). We've had a blast in each of the past two
years, and we hope that new writers will join us this year! *You're invited!*
(A "ficathon" is a fiction-writing game. Our version is an
exchange: You submit three story prompts. You get someone else's
three prompts in return, and write a story for one of those
three. Someone else writes a story for one of your three. All the
stories are then revealed in the "fest," one or two per day, for a
week or two, depending how many people play.)

With deadlines at 11:59PM Pacific, the timeline is:
- 5/05: Sign-ups open.
- 5/25: Sign-ups close.

Need a reason to dust off your FK fanfic-writing skills? Last
Saturday, May 5, 2012, was the *twentieth anniversary* of the first
airing of "Dark Knight" -- on CBS's "Crimetime After Primetime,"
Tuesday, May 5, 1992 ("Dark Knight, the Second Chapter" followed the
very next night). FK is 20! We're still loving our
vampire-homicide-cop show! Let's celebrate!
