Greer, you come up with this wonderful faction icon idea and put in so much work, and then we (including me) start asking for changes and bigger icons and wallpaper, and who knows what we'll come up with next. It gives a lot of credence to the saying, "No good deed goes unpunished." Isn't this a bit like asking someone who is writing sonnets (or haiku!) if they wouldn't be happier turning their hand to writing epic poetry? There is, actually, a certain fun in meeting the challenge of the highly formatted ultra-tiny. Anyway, there are still quite a number of factions left to go. >> Which icons were you interested in seeing larger? > Well, the Ravenettes for sure, because it finally got me to ask. > Dark Perks > Nick And NatPack Done. You can find them here: http://greerwatson.livejournal.com/10495.html I also included the Cousins and Light Cousins, because the detail of the mosaic border wasn't clear at icon size; the Dark and Unholy Trinities so more detail could be seen of the faces and symbols; and the CotK and Dark Knighties, because they are fairly complex. (There are some other candidates for enlargement that need work before they are fit to be seen at a bigger size.) They're not all the same dimensions. The Ravenettes (at 200px) is decidedly the smallest; but I did so much work on the wine glass that it was impossible to increase the size without the edges of the glass looking quite ragged. More like offering an idea to help someone do something challenging if they want to, but I do get your point. :-) > There is, actually, a certain fun in meeting the challenge of the highly > formatted ultra-tiny. Yep, I've tried it myself and I lack the knack and the interest to practice enough to get one. Now...ask me about building small software programs...and I'm always pleased by an elegant design that is very compact and useful. >> Which icons were you interested in seeing larger? > Well, the Ravenettes for sure, because it finally got me to ask. > Dark Perks > Nick And NatPack >Done. You can find them here: http://greerwatson.livejournal.com/10495.html And the Dark Trinity to boot.... Thank you. Thank you. Much appreciated. There is so much details, that I am afraid, all is not possible to see with the current size of icons. But neverthelesss, the icons are really great. They seem to consolidate the essence of the many factions and also quite a lot of the atmosphere of the show.
