She may have been the first to say it in reference to FK, but there was a
reference to it in the USENET group alt.med in 1992 which mentioned it
being older than that according to answers.yahoo.com
On Jan 20 1992, 1:34 am, H keith Henon in alt.med, wrote a post called
"Account of a Cryonic Suspension" in which he referenced the saying as
being old:
"A week later, at a memorial at our patient's house an old friend of mine
repeated the aphorism that a friend is someone you call to help you move,
and that a *real* friend is someone you call to help move a body. We had
lots of real friends that day."
