Subject: WorldCon
I dunno who watched the live stream or the recorded ustream video of the
Hugo Award presentation from last night, but before they started
announcing the awards, they did a series of slides much like you'd see
in a movie theatre before the trailers start. Several of them featured
names listed 'in memoriam', and our dear beloved Susan Garrett was
listed in the Fan category as 'author and fanzine editor'.

I'm glad *someone* remembered, as I contacted the con-coms of 2 different
conventions that she attended regularly right after she passed. Nothing was
mentioned in their memorium programs at all. After all she had meant to so
many fandoms, I was very disappointed.
