It's cute to see the Count from "Sesame Street" mentioned as well. :) http://tvguide.ca/Watercooler/Top10/Articles/110627_evolution_TV_vampire_5_IM Petra. It was nice to see FK and Nick get some recognition. The pic was also good to see. Long Live the Knight! CaddyWhacker, first and foremost. AND NOW I CAN PROVE IT!!!!!!!! We need your help. There's a book out now called "The Vampire Defanged: How the Embodiment of Evil Became a Romantic Hero" by Susannah Clements that has several sections about FK in it. It doesn't get its own chapter like Twilight and Buffy, but is still discussed several times. The book won't be everyone's cup of tea so to speak...the author is Christian, and there are Christian elements running through it, but at the same time, it's not a preachy book either. It's hard to express things exactly, at least for me. She examines the way religious themes have left the vampire mythos a lot, essentially. Although it won't be for everyone's taste, I was happy to see as much FK discussion as there was. http://www.amazon.com/Vampire-Defanged-Embodiment-Became-Romantic/dp/1587432897/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1309239832&sr=1-1 ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 27 Jun 2011 to 28 Jun 2011 (#2011-87) **************************************************************
