And back again trying to answer -- this is what I get for wandering vaguely
past the keyboards.

Stonetree never had a faction that I remember, and I think I would have,
since I really liked the character.

Makes sense, but I think it didn't catch on because there weren't any really
devoted Stonetree fans.

Again, I don't think any of these were ever serious outside of wartime.
People had fun with possible names but mostly it was just fun. In other
cases, people who needed or felt they needed a faction to play in (sometimes
a given war required it) picked a character they liked and claimed a
faction.

Alma never had a faction really either.

I wouldn't know about loops, etc since I wasn't in any of them. However, I
think all of them except the Cohen-Heads were nonce factions for wars.

Yes, although I've no idea why this should be. But then, I never understood
why we lost any of the characters. TPTB always were inscrutable. (Hey, what
I'd like the call them won't do for an all-ages list. :))

They never were given much in the way of backstory, even though all of them
had such possibilities. <sigh>I Then they kept being written out or, with
Reese, the show ended. Given time, I think any of them might have developed
more of a faction and following.

Oh I hope there is a Canadian version release of the series on DVD and Blu-Ray.
There were a LOT of things cut from the show in the US release. A lot of extra
footage and of course the nudity. I hope this is a REAL news item. I would buy
this in a second! They should also FINALLY add the Bloopers to the DVD set. I
have the 2nd and 3rd season ones (probably EVERY FK fan does! LOL). I would love
to see more of them and in BETTER quality too!

I wonder how many different DVD releases there actually is. I have DVD's
2003-2006 released by Sony (the blue, red, green series) and I have always
thought that they are Canadian versions. And thinking about these nudity scenes,
was that something for the European audience? But at least those German DVD's
for season 1 contains no more nudity that the Sony release. Of course I must
say here that I have not seen all the German episodes, but if I have understood
right they should be in the few first episodes if at all.
But anyway any new version could be nice, I think that nowadays DVD's for
the season 3 are quite rare.

Yours sincerely
