I am fairly sure that all talk of any particular attempts at writing
fan-based books is not permitted on this list.
I don't claim to be the listowner of course but I recall the issue coming up
a few years ago and being quickly shut down.

The first war is the only war I actually wrote something for, mostly to
blow up Laurie's car and to wreak some other torments on her (all in
good fun). It might be the only one that featured our lovely postmaster
as one of the characters, but I'm not sure. And my googlefu produced:

I have nothing whatsoever to contribute to these recollections of the first War,
as I wasn't around for it. That being said, I just wanted to pipe in briefly to
say how much I'm enjoying reading these posts. I don't think I've enjoyed any
fandom more than I did/do the FK fandom, even if I was only a lurker through
much of it. So, please continue! :-)
I haven't done too many cons or other in-person fan activities, but if FK peeps
do plan a reunion I will definitely try to be there!
