Plato ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Oct 2010 21:31:28 -0700 From: NAT <nat1228@c.......> Subject: WAR: Knightie Summaries for Oct. 3 KNIGHTIE summary for Oct. 3 1) "LaCroix's Dream Curse" by Knightie Katrinka Early morning, Sunday, Oct. 3 On their way out to get coffee, Katrinka and Gemsong are kidnapped by the Cousins and taken to LaCroix's kitchen to cook for his nieces and nephews. While there, they are forced to wear costumes -- Kat as a bunny rabbit, Gem as a teddy bear. Kat assumes this is punishment for garlic/Habanero pepper pizzas she sent the day before. LaCroix curses them to wear the animal headpieces for the rest of the war, to crave veggies (for Kat) and honey (for Gem), and dance at random to silly children's songs. And then they wake up. It had all been a (shared) dream. But was it? Katrinka was wearing bunny ears that she couldn't remove, and all her clothes were now pink; Gemsong had bear ears stuck on her head, and all her clothes had turned brown! 2) "The Knighties Get Cold Feet" by Knightie Nat Mid-morning, Oct. 3, shortly after "LaCroix's Dream Curse" Nat and the other Knighties discover that all their socks are missing (and Nick's too)! 3) "There is No Such Thing as a Chicken Knightie" by Knightie Katrinka Right after Mercs: Who Ordered the Pizza (Oct. 2nd) The MERCs and Liberatsie have attacked, leaving three dozen free range chickens loose in the loft. Katrinka's dog, Rani, enjoys chasing the squawking birds. Katrinka, who is the only Knightie with experience in chicken handling, offers to round them up and get them out of the loft but only if she and Gemsong are allowed back in the kitchen. Knightie Nat promises that she'll do ANYTHING, if only Kat will get rid of the chickens. Once the birds are back in their crates, Kat calls the Toronto Chicken Liberation Front, a no kill shelter, to come and pick them up. Knightie Nat and the rest of the faction insist that Katrinka and Gemsong clean up the mess, since it was their inadvertent pizza attack that caused the reprisal. ~*~*~*~ Nat Taylor -- Knightie Co-Leader, War 13 nat1228@c....... http://www.knightwatchman.net/war13.htm ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Oct 2010 21:41:18 -0700 From: Kristen Fife <fenix23fyre@y.......> Subject: WAR: hosted site Hi All, I've been reading the War site and it appears that the site isn't working; it doesn't appear to be a War phenomenon...any ideas? The Pack realizes all their socks are missing and Soul sends them off on a sock hunt while she picks up a rental bus, bemoaning the fact the NNP bus won't run because the gas is 6 years old, as is the license sticker. Soul eventually returns with the luxury party bus, loads up the N&Ners, and heads up north to pick up Susan & Michelle. The bus has a state-of-the-art A/V system and a fully stocked bar. Everyone's enjoying the booze and music enough not to notice her crazy driving. Soul's thoughts travel back to everyone's arrival the previous day, and the garlic, pepper and tabasco sauced pizza they received. She determines that the Knighties, being allies of the N&NPack, couldn't possibly have sent it, and deems the incident requires further investigation. Once at Susan's, they load up the bus with vegetables and maple syrup that they plan to sell to raise money, then they all head back to TO. ------- Susan B. nnpacker@h....... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 4 Oct 2010 12:23:37 -0400 From: Bonnie Rutledge <nunkies@l.......> Subject: WAR: Yoga Anyone? My 'A Pepperoni Place for Dying' post yesterday established that the Jeweled Peach is no longer a restaurant (insurance issues). Monsieur Cabon now holds yoga and Zumba classes there. For anyone wanting to do a factional exercise outing, feel free to use the locale. Note the Peach is no longer a restaurant, but cold coffee drinks, smoothies and a full bar are available. Sometime between Oct 8th-10, the Bonnies will be at the Peach for a yoga session. If you would like to appear in these posts or contribute a faction snippet, etc., please contact me offlist. This event may or may not segue into the barfight - it depends on what other war-wide events pop up before this weekend. <waves> Bonnie Rutledge - nunkies@l.......
