Sorry. Becky asked > > I'm confused (sorry....). Does this mean that faction playing is optional > or does it mean that it's being done away with? I'm sure I'm misreading it, > but I needed to ask. > No need to be sorry. It's always better to ask. The factions may play as a group if they want to. We're just not requiring membership in a faction this time in order to play. Anyone who wants to play independently may do so. I wouldn't _dare_ try to do away with factions, being a notorious Cousin. <g> McLisa listowner, Forkni-l and Fkfic-l mclisa1014@g....... > > > ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 5 Sep 2010 23:53:12 -0400 From: L McDavid <mclisa1014@g.......> Subject: War: Admin: Take this offlist now I'm sorry, and I'm also not going to take sides for or against any poster. But being responsible for the list and keeping it unscorched, I'm going to have to insist that all personal criticism and discussion in connection with the unfortunate events of the last war, be _TAKEN OFFLIST NOW. I have already said that in this war, there will be no punishments or removals by the WM without Don and my concurrence. This should prevent the unfortunate events during the last war from happening again. If it doesn't, then the war will be stopped at that time. If we can't even discuss and arrange for the forthcoming war without getting too warm, maybe there won't be a war at all. So please, simmer down. Please don't make me or Don spend our Labor Day fire-watching. And thank you to everyone for cooperating. I know none of us wants a fire.
