I have so much e-mail piled up! I keep getting busy and then next thing
I know I've got like 300 e-mails to weed through. I'll get through the
pile again soon, I swear, especially as I hear there's War looming? I
wanna keep up with what's going on with that!

Even though I've been pretty quiet, I haven't forgotten about FK in the
least. I just recently (finally) got a copy of season three on DVD, so
now I can stop trying to watch deteriorating videotapes ^^; . I'm not
even gonna complain about the graininess of the picture, 'cause it's
still better than what I had (although I do think a remastered version
would be nice eventually). I still tell friends (and even random
strangers, once in a while) who haven't heard of the show about it,
though I have yet to force anyone to watch. Although, since I think
they have some on Youtube, maybe I need to pick a good ep or two and
start sending them the links? Then there are the amusing little ways I
slip FK into other things, like this habitat I made on one of my Super
Poke Pets accounts not long ago:
http://regnomonarch.superpokepets.com/spp/scrapbook/snapshot?snap=s23kmCkQQdNk8hmxEt9Ftg&snap_index=1

I wonder how many people may have seen that habby and been like, "I
remember that show!" and started trying to pick out the characters?

Actually, I think I'm mostly just rambling due to lack of sleep, which
I'm about to rectify as soon as I send this. Just wanted to pop my head
up out of the gopher hole and make my presence known! And maybe when I
wake up I can weed through more e-mail again, and try to find out the
specific details about the War. I already can't wait!

*slips off to feed some kitties, and then off to sleep a bit*

Dear Factions!

In the interests of science (or whatever), would you consider preserving
your internal correspondence about this war, sticking it in a folder or
something, and sending it on at the end?

I've been back-reading the Wars from the start. Okay, okay...I've only
actually finished War One. I'm still struggling to get through War Two.
I've *dipped* into the next couple. However, one thing is incredibly
obvious. As the Wars went on, and more and more people got involved, they
became more complicated and organized--the one leading to the second. But
even at the start there was *some* behind-the-scenes faction planning,
especially by the Cousins.

The Wars as archived only preserve the end result. This is all very well
and good (and I'm so glad we've got the archived posts); but, to write them
up, documenting the *experience* of War--such a very particularly *FK*
phenomenon!--really needs some understanding of what goes on behind the
scenes.

And I just know how much everyone has leapt in to write up their own little
bits of the Wiki. Not.

So...would you, or at least some of you, consider hanging on to your War
planning? Not (she hastens to add) that you should let me read it in
advance. That would be quite improper. (Besides, I'm thinking of joining
in.) But, after it's all over, when time comes to write Wiki articles and
the like...and there aren't any deep secrets any more....

Anyway, think about it.

Greer
