I will take you up on your generous offer to let us download the zip files for our own use before we lose http://www.knightwatchman.net/ as an FK graphics resource on April 1. I'm sorry I don't know of an alternative ISP. Amy R. akr@l....... I'm sorry I don't know of an alternative ISP. Thanks, Amy! I'm sad that it has to come down. I may be able to leave up the zip files, now that I've thought about it. That's just one file per episode, so not many files total. Still, it doesn't hurt to get them while you can, just in case. I got the paid space and domain name mainly to put up the FK archive, and I'm truly saddened that the hosting company doesn't see things my way. They offer unlimited space, and I can't find the number "50,000" anywhere in their TOS for a number of files limit. But a tech told me when I called with a problem one time recently, and now there's a notice on the user's page warning me that the entire site could be shut down. I'm not sure it's worth continuing to pay for with my two largest fandoms having to move off to other servers (or nowhere at all <sigh>). Nat ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Nancy A. I also like that Reese had her try to face that down by working with Natalie. 2) I remember watching this episode on TV way back when and not picking up on who the corporal was until very near the end. I guess I was looking at his face and never noticed the Iron Cross he was wearing. 3) I do not know who looks sillier with those magnifying headsets on, Tracy or Natalie. 4) Nick's classical education has its benefits. He knows all the great works of literature. Heck...he probably could have meet many of the authors if he wanted to. 5) Amusing to see Nick on the receiving end of another cop's "psychotic determination" that he is right and everyone else is not seeing things as they really are. 6) "I am above such concerns." Never has LaCroix spoke truer words. 7) A Coroner's office keeps oxygen bottles around? Who are they expecting to recucitate? I figure by the time Natalie gets 'em....they are WAYYYY beyond a little oxygen being helpful. Ah, well...when the writers need it, Natalie is as properly equipped as any OR. 8) Joe and Manning are hardly winded at the very end of the chase. Would have slowed the scene down for their dialog, but it would have been better if they actually both looked like they had been running hard for 2-3 minutes. ("Mein Kampf" means "my struggle".) > 7) A Coroner's office keeps oxygen bottles around? Who are they expecting to recucitate? Knowing Tracy's squeamishness, Natalie borrowed one to have around just in case Tracy needed it? *sprinkles cheese all around* Roger ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Mar 2010 09:52:19 -0700 From: cindy clark <badwolf15895@s.......> Subject: Re: Episode Discussion: Jane Doe From: "Phillips, Tim" Tim.Phillips@s....... 7) A Coroner's office keeps oxygen bottles around? Ah, well...when the writers need it, Natalie is as properly equipped as any OR. Actually, in teaching hospitals, they do keep O2 on hand in the morgue. We regularly end up reviving med students of various varieties during even the smallest of procedures. So I would think that Nat would have it available for rookie tours, etc. Most people have minds like concrete: mixed up or permanently set. ________________________________ ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 15 Mar 2010 to 16 Mar 2010 (#2010-53) **************************************************************
