Are "Kyer" and "Kyer en Ysh" the same person --> YES 2. We know that the same person currently makes vids as "Abby82" and write stories as "Abby". From Bright Knightie recommendations, we assume her surname began with the letter A. Can anyone give us more information about this earlier Abby (sadly now deceased)? Abby 92 web addy --> http://abby82.livejournal.com/ Ist Abby may have been Abby Albrecht, and my have also used "TV ELF" Desiree ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Feb 2010 15:20:57 -0800 From: "Amy R." <akr@l.......> Subject: FKFicFest Game Invitation Amilyn (Natpacker Amy) and I (Knightie Amy) are hosting a FK ficathon game on LiveJournal this spring. It's called "FKFicFest." We would like to invite everyone to consider playing! *What is a ficathon?* Several kinds of fiction-writing games have become popular under that name. This particular one goes like this: (1) Submit a slate of three story prompts. (2) Receive in return a slate of three prompts submitted by someone else. (3) Write one story of at least 1,000 words to fulfill any one of the three prompts received, and post it to the community. (4) Receive in return, on the community, one story that fulfills one of the three prompts submitted. (5) FK is celebrated and a grand time is had by all! That's the plan, anyway. :-) Sign-ups have just opened today (02/18), and will remain open through 03/18. Final stories are due on 05/10, and will begin releasing on 05/18 (or as soon as all are submitted, including pinch-hits for any writer who has to drop out). May 18, of course, is the fourteenth anniversary of the first airing of "Last Knight," give or take local syndication. *Why hold an FK Ficathon?* We see a lot of fun ficathon games played, but even when FK is included in a multi-fandom game, the players requesting it don't always get matched with the players eager to write it. Fourteen years out from cancellation, we still love our vampire-homicide-cop show and the wonderful friends we have made -- and continue to make -- through it. We deserve a celebration! What better party favor than new FK fanfiction? *What if I don't have a LiveJournal?* LiveJournal offers free accounts. Alternatively, if you have an account with one of the other big blogging services, I believe that you can use OpenID to post, as long as you tell us in advance that you will need that permission opened up. (If you have a solid reason for not using any of those options but still want to play, get in touch and we'll work something out.) *Can ficathon stories be posted to fkfic-l?* Yes! We hope all the players will post their stories to fkfic-l after the ficathon. (The ficathon game is to help make new stories, not to impose on any of the places we already post!) *So tell me more!* - The LiveJournal community is here: http://community.livejournal.com/fkficfest/ . - The detailed Rules/Sign-Up post is here: http://community.livejournal.com/fkficfest/2309.html . - The joint email address for the two of us hosting ("moderating," in LJ-speak) the event is fkficfestmod@rittenhurst.com and our joint LJ is: http://fkficfestmod.livejournal.com/ . You don't have to decide today. :-) Sign-ups are open for one month. We hope to see you there! I'm set "digest" on forkni-l, and usually can't catch up during the week. (I'm using a vacation day today to kick off the fest. ~g~) So the fastest way to reach me is still off-list. Amy R., Knightie akr@l....... That film crew shouldn't have been broadcasting the appearance of that safehouse to the entire city. 2) And here we have one of the less ethical usages of the "whammy" to bend someone to Nick's will. I do think in the situation, he was correct to try to extract the cocubine from the situation with whatever tool he had. 3) Stonetree chewed kleenex, Tracy shreds paper. 4) There is a nice subtle gesture on Lisa Ryder's part as she and Nick are leaving the squadroom after Reese tells them that they have a lead that Henderson is being patched up at a local clinic. As she's walking out, Tracy "instinctively" reaches to double-check that she's got her pistol. I don't know if Lisa added the gesture as a lead-in to the next scene or if it was something she just came up with figuring that Tracy would double-check on being armed when called out to deal with a believed to be dangerous suspect.
