Africanized (Killer) bees got loose in this hemisphere because of a lax
laboratory worker in South America, so that could make that aspect of "Fever"
believable.

If corporations owned the sun, America would be run on solar power.

Subject: Episode Discussion: Dead Of The Night

1) Interesting story idea. The usage of a "haunted house" to reveal the things
that frighten/haunt each of the characters was a nice piece of story telling.

2) Amusing how Nick is scared not by fire or daylight...but by the possibilities
that the dead can still speak and "haunt" those who remain "alive".

3) Nick to Natalie: "You OK?"
   Natalie: "Yeah...maybe just a little over-caffeinated."
She accepts vampires as real...but still refuses to acknowledge that a ghost
may exist. Natalie is amusingly human.

4) I like that while Reese has often been presented as political, he is the
person who is pushing to make sure that the case is properly investigated and
not just marked as "accidental". He is also the only one of the 4 who has not
yet been in the house at the time he seems to regard his crew as distracted.

5) So losing Vachon is what it takes to make Tracy talk about "extraordinary
affairs" with Nick.

6) I think FK is unique in having LaCroix's monologues. What other series has a
mechanism for the writer to literally directly state the themes and ideas that
they are exploring in the story? LaCroix is the literal voice of the writer.

7) I'm trying to remember...did Schanke ever just turn the Nightcrawler off the
way Tracy does? I do not remember it...but Tracy seems more able to assert
herself with Nick. Part of me says she gets her way because she is simply use
to the protective shadow her dad throws over her...part of me says is it
somewhat due to Nick's normal deference to the women around him...partially, I
think it is because she is younger than Schanke and thus may not have had as
many bad things happen when she unthinkingly exceeded the boundaries.

8) You'd think after a while...someone in the Crime Scene Investigation Unit
would start wondering at all the broken 3rd/4th story windows and skylights at
the scenes they are investigating.

9) Catherine Disher is wearing a rather large bandage across one finger on her
hand while she is recording her autopsy results about 1/2 hour into the show. I
wonder if the actress nicked herself at home or if props decided that Natalie
might hurt herself once in a while in the course of her life?

Subject: list of dates of significence in FK?

I want to say that I remember seeing a list of the significant dates in FK
(Nat's birthday, LaCroix's crossing date...specific dates things happened in the
series). I can find a couple of FK time-lines, but they are no more detailed
than which year something happened.

Can anyone point me to what I have memory of?
Thanks,
    Tim
