I was shopping with my sister and niece this weekend. We ended up over in
the makeup and haircare area
of a local discount store. I happened to be standing looking at the
display of products for black hair
and one of the items was Garlic Shampoo. The bottle said it was unscented
but I have had "unscented"
garlic tablets that smelled like a combination of vanilla and garlic. I did
kind of giggle to myself picturing
Natalie washing her hair with Garlic Shampoo and Nick's reaction to that.
If they ever do a new incarnation
of Forever Knight it would be a fabulous sight gag to put a bottle in
somebody's shower.

1) This episode could also be entitled: I was The GrandSon of Frankenstein's
Monster by Nicholas Knight.
2) I like Vachon's quip about how every time Tracy runs across something
really weird, she runs to him for advice.
3) do we know which side of the family Tracy's sick uncle is from? I'm
guessing it is Tracy's dad's brother...but do we know? Ahh, he listed in the
transplant waiting list as Sonny Vetter...must be from Tracy's dad's family.
4) Screed definitely means some off-beat people when gambling in Reno.
Vampiric, organ-boosting doctors. Sounds like a episode of The Jerry Show.
5) Nick and Tracy are more demanding a partnership than Schanke and Nick.
Schanke at least generally followed the book and tried to keep things legal.
Tracy is far more impulsive. Bad enough with Nick running around as a
law-unto himself...but Tracy shares some of those same disregards.
6) Give Tracy points for not being a helpless heroine. Couldn't do anything
with a gun in her face...but the moment that changed, she was all over the
guy and beat him down.
