10) Toronto burials are different (at least on TV). Whenever we did burials,
the sods were replace when we were done...we didn't leave bare earth on the
grave. You could mow where a new grave had gone in the following day if
necessary. I suppose that the bare earth was because someone had planted
a pile of flowerbulbs.

I always find it interesting how fast the elaborately carved headstones get
finished and placed on FK. My Mom died in May of '08 and her very simply
carved stone wasn't completed and put in place till mid August '08. Hmmm, maybe
the vampires carve them at night at full vampiric speed so they can be ready
for the funeral the next day....

Actually, if Vashon can survive an airplane explosion, I have no problem with
LC, who is over a millenium senior, surviving a dirigible explosion.

Nick, Janette, LC, and island, and dodos.

Anyone know the name? I was discussing dodos and extinction this morning with
a coworker. At 8 AM. Sans coffee.

In addition, LC could just step out of the airship and fly off into the
atmosphere. He wouldn't have to wait for it to get near to the ground. I'm
sure he would have been aware enough of what was going on to get out before the
hydrogen went up. And even with all the spectators and the film crew, his
image, if captured, would have been completely overlooked due to the other
horrors going on. As to burning up in the daylight, he has shown Nick that he
has more tolerance to daylight than Nick does, plus, having a lot of savvy, he
could have thrown a cloak over himself. -- actually all the better a disguise.
No one would really question a cloak or blanket thrown overboard at the last
minute which then floated off into wherever, whereas an older,
imperious-looking, light-haired gentleman falling overboard then falling up
instead of down might have raised a few questions had he been seen. ;-)

Being a former journalist, I totally disagree. If LaCroix's image had been
captured, it might initially been overlooked. However, I'm sure as is the case
today, the images were studied even at the time with a fine tooth comb for
evidence as to what happened. Today, historians - professional and otherwise -
still study the images of the tragedy. Sooner or later, someone would notice
there was a flying man.

They might think his "flying" was from the explosion, but at least in these
days, there'd be scientists able to figure out that even with an explosive
force, his body wasn't in the proper position for that to be the case.

LC and Divia make a cameo appearance on House of Paulus. I like the
crossover versions this artist creates and I'm so happy he draws in
"classical" style

"Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because
they have to say something." Plato
