1) I like how Reese does not yet want Tracy's parents checked to see if they
know where she is. The tone of Reese's voice is not that of someone trying to
keep bad news from Tracy's powerful police commissioner father..it is of a boss
trying to keep a seperatation between the personal and business life of someone
who he knows very much wants that seperation.

2) Screed!!! Cool.

4) Nice set of scenes with Tracy and Natalie and then Natalie and Nick around
Natalie learning what is going on with Tracy and Vachon.

5) "Some relationships just aren't meant to be". Getting a little too cute
there Nick. Had to tape-dance quick to work around that one with Tracy.

6) The FK women really, really need to avoid men they literally bump into on
the streets. Nothing but trouble.

7) MMMmmmhhhmmmm... wonder what else Tracy keeps tucked away in her brassiere
(aside the obvious of course).

8) Screed in that WW1 flight helmet. Looks like a demented superhero. Coulda
been The Verminator in the live-action version of The Tick.

9) 1/2 kilo of semtex is really not that big a blast. Set it on the park bench
and walk well away and let it go. Don't seem to be anyone else around where
Tracy is. Nice dramatic sequence though.

10) Toronto burials are different (at least on TV). Whenever we did burials,
the sods were replace when we were done...we didn't leave bare earth on the
grave. You could mow where a new grave had gone in the following day if
necessary. I suppose that the bare earth was because someone had planted a
pile of flowerbulbs.

I have already messaged several people individually; but, with McLisa's
permission, I am also asking here.

You may or may not know that I am finishing up my Ph.D. thesis. Well, my
supervisor has another candidate whom he is advising; and he gave her my
name in the hope that I could provide her with some help. Her name is Susan
Hesemeier; and she is doing her thesis about the on-line publishing of short
fiction-both professional and fan writing. As part of the thesis, she wants
to interview some authors. However, when we met, she confided that she has
been having a lot of trouble getting people to help her. Apparently they
tend to say that they would love to read the results...but don't want to
take the time and trouble to participate themselves.

Well, I offered to do the questionnaire myself, of course. So I can assure
you that it's pretty innocuous. Also you can remain anonymous if you want,
or use a LiveJournal name or the like.

Obviously, you may not fancy the idea of helping her, or you may not have
the time. And, of course, you may want to chat with her a bit before
deciding. Her e-mail addy is s.hesemeier@utoronto.ca
