I came across the link to this on Twitter. Ukrainian Polka video, I read.
I clicked. A Schanke moment, with a nod to part of my heritage. And a
whole lot of surreality. NOTE: Lyrics contain mildish bad words.

I wonder what Schanke would have thought.

I think Schanke would have loved it.
Plus, 'surreal' does not begin to cover it.

Oh, god! I can just see Bjorn dancing around
in her swan dress to this music.

Or, how about a video of Nick going back and
forth between Nat and Janette.

1) Charles knew Nick for 1/2 a century and thinks he "may have a dark secret"?
Like how he keeps looking 30 forever or what?

2) You can definitely tell that a flashback is from Nick's "dark ages" when
LaCroix is the voice of restraint against Nick's actions.

3) I like the look of excitement on Janette's face when Nick and his partner
in the Dauphan's murder started to duel. And the eye-roll that LaCroix gives
Janette when Nick gets stabbed through the chest is a riot. Plus, I like
Janette's hat.

4) Ms. Duchene is a pretty woman who displays her décolleté well...but I
really must say that she has an absolutely beautiful neck and gorgeous
shoulders.

5) "Maybe he upgraded his stereo?" - Nick
"Not unless he was sitting on it. I pulled that out of his left
   buttock." - Natalie.
    Ahh, the glamour of forensics.

6) Interesting ending. If the series had not gotten season 3, we'd be left
with the final image of Nick and Janette intimately together...with Natalie
nowhere in sight....even though she and Nick were maybe the closest they'd
ever been at the conclusion of A More Permanent Hell.
Much as I have been a NickAndNatPacker at times, I have to admit that Nick
has very often acted as if he would be juast as happy to resume his
relationship with Janette if she only told him it was what she wanted
    now as well.

Into Season 3 we go.

No more Don or Cohen.
  :-(

Bring on Reese, Tracy and Vachon.
   :-)

So get out your bag of bite-sized Reese pieces, brew up a really strong cup
of java and don't blink for 43 straight minutes as you review Black Budda
(episode 1 of the 3rd season DVDS) and join us on June 16th, 2009 for an
episode discussion.

	Tim
P.S. if you really want to get the whole 3rd season vibe, be sure to lovingly
stroke a pet rat toy while enjoying the show (bonus points if it is a live pet
rat)

Is it Dark Knight 1 or or Dark Knight 2 that has Schanke cranking up the
Polka while driving the Caddy?

Absolutely! I can see Donut liking Katy Perry anyway (thank you Jenny
Schanke!), but add in the Polka...heaven. Thanks Laurie.
